Spirituality
After a few interesting discussions with friends, for the first time, I start getting to know what is my belief in spirituality. It's actually quite exciting...
I feel that there is an ultimate truth in the universal. However, the essence of it is unspeakable. This ultimate truth is infinite and any attempts to cover it all is only finite; therefore, none of languages, explanations or religions is able to describe it fully and precisely. All the exciting theory or religions (such as reincarnation, going to heaven/hell, ghost, atheism and etc.) are all right, but at the same time not right because you can't finite the infinity.
I see souls as some kind of energy. Everything in this universe is connected as whole. Each soul/energy is interconnect with each other, which creates a sort of natural law/flow as whole. Each individual soul is contributed to this natural law, so it can change the natural flow. However, this natural law also has the influence to every single energy. It's like a circular/infinite loop. All in one and one in all.

Do you mean some of their component ideas are right, and some not right?
Atheism says God doesn't exist. Islam, Judaism and Christianity says he does. How can both those views be right at the same time?
How can (as I understand it) a Buddhist view of cycles of reincarnation be true at the same time as the aforementioned religion's view of one life, one judgment and going to heaven/hell for eternity?
It seems to me that some of the ideas of some religions are mutually exclusive with the ideas of other religions.
What I tried to say is that each religion/theory tends to use a finite checklist to cover the infinity ultimate truth. Some may tick God and some may not. However, it's not the most important thing as I believe that it's just a method to interpret the ultimate truth.
But some methods will be closer to the truth than others, in at least some areas?
If so, is it possible that one religion is right in all its areas even if it doesn't claim to know EVERYTHING (perhaps _especially_ if it doesn't claim to know everything) ?
I think yes, some methods will be closer to the truth than others.
I think it's possible that some religions are all right in all its areas. After all, what's right and what's wrong are sometimes subjective. Besides, some may seem to be wrong but it may play certain role that actually makes the result right...and vice versa.
Yes sometimes the right conclusion can be reached from incorrect information :)
That right and wrong might be subjective interests me....do you think truth is inherently subjective, or that perhaps truth is objective but we might not be able to work out what truth is, so it SEEMS subjective? Personally I am on the latter view, but I have heard some people think truth doesn't really exist objectively. I'm not sure if I've talked to anyone yet that falls in that category, unless I did without realising it.
I think you raised a very interesting point about right and wrong.
I believe there are certain things are true objectively and fundamentally no matter what. And the rest trivial things fall into the category of being subjective.
Me too :)
